Minerals fulfill many roles in the body. They are useful in stimulating growth and regulating body processes.

Minerals are working in teams or against each other. Some minerals are in competition, regarding absorption, so minerals intake  can cause a deficiency of another mineral in the body.

Processed food reduces significantly minerals content and can become harmful for the body.

In previous articles we've got acquainted with most of the major minerals and micro minerals, revealing their role in the body and natural sources where they can be found. In the following we will talk about less known minerals also essential for an optimal body functioning.

Nitrogen

orange_line- Can be found in sources as: proteins (amino acids), nuts, seeds, green leaves vegetables;
- Act as a protein;
- Lack of this mineral can cause an abnormal development.

Carbon

orange_line- Can be found in: carbohydrates, sugars, fruits and vegetables, nuts, olives and avocados;
- Is the main source of energy and is necessary for teeth, connective tissue, skin, hair and nails.


Hydrogen

orange_line- Can be found in:  carbohydrates and fats, sugars, fruits and vegetables, especially carrots, celery, spinach, tomatoes and cabbage;
- It is useful in blood flow.

Sulfur

orange_line- Can be found in: cauliflower, turnips, Brussels sprouts, beans, cabbage, garlic, onions, raspberries, broccoli, lettuce, wheat germ;
- Is good for body because sulfur disinfects the blood, maintains body health against bacterial invasion, protect the body against harmful effects of radiation and pollution, sulfur slows down the aging process.
