Each of us knows that vitamins and minerals are indispensable for health and vitality. Vitamins help our body to sustain the vital processes and minerals sustain body growth. A lack of vitamins or minerals will slow the metabolism and will favor diseases and low immunity.


The best way to get necessary vitamins and minerals is to eat raw fruits and vegetables. They are full of nutritive elements and suitable for maintaining a healthy body and a normal weight

- vitamin C, the most important antioxidant and revitalizing. Natural sources full with vitamin C are: lemon, wild rose, kiwi, broccoli, sea buckthorn, black currant bush;


- vitamin E, other important antioxidant for our body is found easily in: spinach, cabbage, parsley and dry bean.


- vitamin A, appreciated for its role in maintaining retina health and strengthen bones . It can be found in: fruits (strawberries, apples, peaches, sweet almonds), and vegetables (eggplant, cucumber, tomatoes, spinach).


- all vitamins B, helps our body with energy, are antioxidants and favor a normal metabolism. Fruits and vegetables rich of vitamins B are: potatoes, spinach, cabbage, watermelon and avocado.


- calcium, extremely important for bones and heart health. It can be naturally found in: nuts, sesame seed, all green vegetables and olives;

- iron is very important in oxygen transport to the cells. Iron natural sources are: mushrooms, cherries, endive, asparagus and parsley;


- magnesium maintain bones health and can be found in natural sources as: bananas, corn, apples and cabbage;


These are the most known vitamins and minerals. Their number is greater but all can be found in fruits and vegetables.


It is best to avoid synthetic vitamins and minerals supplements. They haven't the same benefits like the "natural" vitamins and minerals.
