Farinaceous foods are composed of starch. They are mostly bad carbohydrates and some will must be excluded.
Potato
The first one of farinaceous foods is potato. It was found that potato is full of vitamins and minerals, but when it is cooked it loses the qualities and, especially, when it is peeled. Fries, are a food with carbohydrates and lipids, like bread and butter. It cannot be consumed without the risk to gain weight, because the fried oil is stored as fat reserves.
Dry beans
Bean grain should be classified among the best carbohydrates, because it has a very low glycemic index: 18.
However, we recommend that you avoid dry beans unless you decide to eat it exclusively for breakfast, instead of black bread.

Rice
At the beginning rice, as it was used traditionally by Asians, is a complete food because it contains all the essential nutrients to maintain life.
In contrast, white rice, eaten - in generally - today is very refined. And it has no longer nutrients, except starch.
Normal rice (husked) must therefore be excluded, because - like flour sieve - is a bad carbohydrate, which releases large amounts of glucose.
Conversely, complete rice and, even better, Canadian wild rice could come in your menu provided not eat it with fat (butter or cheese).
Combine with tomatoes (low boiling) and onions, may be equally complete, good for the whole family and appreciated by everyone.

Corn
Corn is grown for centuries and yet is only eaten from few decades. Corn has a high glycemic index which classifies it among the bad carbohydrates - used since centuries to gain weight the cattle.
But it is interesting to note that industrial processing of corn significantly increases its glycemic index, making popcorn have a hyperglycemia power and lead to a rapid weight gain.
Pastes
Even if it is about fresh flour paste is better to exclude from your food.
By their nature, pastes are bad-carbohydrate, manufactured almost always from sifted flour, with added fats: butter, eggs. cheese, oil.
Complete pastes are classified as good, as far as their glycemic index is only 45.
In France this product is classified abusively through diet products, because the raw material suffers less industrial processing.
