Our body needs salt. Sodium can be naturally found in higher quantities in foods.
They contain much salt than body needs to cover its daily requirements.
So, we shouldn't add salt to foods that we prepare.
Try to reduce salt for example, to a teaspoon every day.
Tips for salt reduction:
If you eat snacks, choose those unsalted;
eat low boiled vegetables, without adding salt;
eat toast;
replace salt with lemon juice or natural spices as: onion, garlic, parsley, ginger, horseradish;
prepare your food without salt, in this case you can choose for a cookery book.
Foods with much...much...much salt:
Italian sauce: 3 teaspoons contain 2500 mg of salt;
soy sauce: 1 teaspoon contains 2500 mg of salt;
garlic salt: 1 teaspoon contains 4500 mg of salt;
