Today, too many people include in their meals sweet drinks.

The highest consumption of sweet drinks was registered among children.

These represent a combination of chemicals. Imagine that in a glass of water you add 8-12 sugar tablespoons, the result is a sweet drink without flavors.

Too much sugar found in these drink may lead to:

A nutritional imbalance

For example a person who should eat 1200-1600 calories daily in order to maintain its ideal weight and health if would have drunk 2-3 sweet drinks in  a day, its food ration would decrease considerably; also the nutrients;

Weight gain

If calories from sweet drinks are added to calories from foods, excess calories will be deposited as fat;

Destabilize of blood sugar levels

orange_linecalories from sugar enter quickly in the blood due to the lack of food fibers, increasing also the blood sugar levels and causing a temporary increase of energy.

When blood sugar increases, the pancreas releases insulin to bring blood sugar levels to normal, so it will produce an energy decrease.

This is due to soft drinks and sweet snacks eaten at frequent intervals.

Slow digestion

Don't worry! A sweet drink served on special occasions causes no particular problem from this point of view.

But sweet drinks served several times a day causes to the  stomach, leading to a slow digestion.

Increase of stomach acid secretion

Most sweet drinks, especially fizzy drinks increase stomach acid secretion. This increase is producing usually after drink left the stomach.
