Let's find apricots role in weight loss diets. These fruits are very appreciated for its power in maintaining a healthy body.

Apricots contain over 80% water, vitamin C, A and B, nutrients, and few calories if you eat fresh apricots (50 calories for 100 grams of apricots). Also, if you eat dried apricots, calories level for 100 grams increases for 6 times (300 calories).


Apricots as I said before are very rich in vitamins and are very nutritious. As a result of these, apricots are  recommended for:


  • a balanced digestion,
  • for liver diseases,
  • apricots improve eyesight,

  • anemia (apricots help in tissues regeneration, particularly nerve cells),
  • depression and nervousness,
  • obesity.

Due to apricots content of vitamin C, they help to strengthen body immunity. At the same time apricots have a slightly laxative effect, and they are recommended in weight loss diets, being in the same time a natural source which bring vitamins to our body.


Apricots are a natural remedy for people who are in convalescence and for those who suffer from neurosis.


In order to treat all diseases mentioned above you should eat fresh apricots, dried apricots (not for weight loss diets), apricot juice (without sugar) and apricot compote (without sugar).
 
Also, apricots can be also used in cosmetics, to skin care. So you can use a mask from a squashed apricot for a toning skin.
